Overall
Skylan layers the battlefield with Draconic Thunder — a spreading debuff that reduces haste, shreds Dragonspeak resistance, and deals continuous area damage to afflicted enemies and those around them. Every part of his kit applies it: his lance throw hits clusters, his teleport leaves persistent lightning paths, his drake companion tags enemies through normal attacks, and his phantom lance lingers in crowded areas dealing sustained damage. Reapplying the debuff on the same target triggers bonus burst damage. His ultimate transforms him into dragon form and generates Stormsurge, an evolving elemental effect that cuts enemy energy recovery and — when enhanced by subsequent ultimates — strikes every thundermarked enemy with unavoidable lightning. He repositions by teleporting away from threats, leaving behind electrified zones that stun enemies who linger. Enemies who stay near his phantom lance permanently take increasing damage from him.
Skills
Dragonstorm
UltimateTransforms into dragon form and deals AoE damage to all enemies, with bonus damage near the impact point. Applies Draconic Thunder on impact. Generates the Stormsurge element on first cast; subsequent casts enhance it, triggering periodic undodgeable lightning strikes on all Thunder-afflicted enemies.
Lightning Lance
ActiveHurls a lance at the densest enemy cluster, dealing damage and applying Draconic Thunder which reduces Haste and Dragonspeak Resist. Thunder spreads to nearby enemies and deals periodic AoE damage. Reapplying Thunder to the same target triggers bonus burst damage. Leaves a phantom lance that persists, dealing continuous damage and applying Thunder.
Piercing Resolve
PassiveAlternates between melee lance and ranged blade attacks based on proximity. Ranged blade attacks reduce Physical Resist. Both attack types generate energy when hitting Thunder-afflicted targets. Every few normal attacks, his drake assists with bonus Dragonspeak Damage and applies Draconic Thunder.
Thunderburst
ActiveTeleports to safety, leaving persistent lightning paths that apply Draconic Thunder. Enemies lingering on paths are stunned. Up to 3 paths can exist at once. Paths persist indefinitely while Stormsurge is enhanced. Taking fatal damage triggers an extra use and grants brief invincibility, up to 3 times per battle.

Skylan shifts into dragon form and hovers in the air, then spits out a lightning orb that deals damage equal to 220% of Skylan’s Attack Rating to all enemies on the battlefield. Enemies near the spot where the lightning orb lands will suffer an extra 35% damage. When cast actively, this skill triggers the Stormsurge element. Stormsurge: This element effect forms after the first cast of the Ultimate. For its duration, enemies affected by Draconic Thunder have their Energy Recovery Rate reduced by 35. Afterward, every time Skylan casts his Ultimate, the element will be enhanced for 10 seconds. While enhanced, every 1 seconds, Lightning Bolts will be triggered on enemies affected by Draconic Thunder, dealing Dragonspeak Damage equal to 200% of Skylan’s Attack Rating. This damage ignores Dodge. Only one hero on the team can shift at a time. (Element)
Skylan wields his Dragon’s Lance – Thunderbound and hurls it at the area with the highest concentration of enemies, dealing damage equal to 170% of his Attack Rating to nearby enemies and applying Draconic Thunder on them for 6 seconds. Enemies affected by Draconic Thunder will have their Haste reduced by 20 points. Draconic Thunder also deals Dragonspeak Damage equal to 150% of Skylan’s Attack Rating to the target and enemies around it every 1 seconds. Draconic Thunder cannot be dispelled, and when applied to the same target again, its duration is refreshed.
Skylan has 2 normal attacks: Dragon’s Lance and Dragonscale Blade, with the latter being ranged. When no enemies are near, Skylan prioritizes Dragonscale Blade, dealing damage equal to 200% of his Attack Rating and reducing the enemy’s Physical Resist by 25 points for 3 seconds.
Skylan uses Boltstep to teleport to a location with few enemies, leaving behind a path of lightning that lasts 8 seconds. Enemies that touch the path are inflicted with Draconic Thunder for 4 seconds. There can be up to 3 paths of lightning on the battlefield at the same time.
