Overall

Cursed Gaze

Medusa is a dual-debuff controller who runs two separate curse systems in parallel: Stonecurse, which snowballs on anything she hits until the target is petrified into a vulnerable Soulless Statue, and Serpent's Venom, a stacking damage-over-time mark placed on the enemies dealing the most damage. Her ultimate ties the two together — its AoE burst spreads to the whole enemy team while amplifying existing Stonecurse stacks, and each petrified enemy makes her hit harder. Beyond pure damage, she has a self-preserving escape: at key health thresholds she vanishes into serpent form, becoming untouchable while permanently draining stats from the enemy's best attacker. Deployed alongside Athena, virtually every one of these systems — venom, Stonecurse pressure, and the serpent-form drain — extends onto her partner as well, turning a solo debuff kit into a shared two-hero pressure engine.

Skills

Gorgon's Judgment

Ultimate

Alternates normal attacks between damage and health loss. Actively binds all enemies with a serpent before unleashing Gorgon's Gaze on the whole team, adding extra Stonecurse stacks and granting stacking attack rating for each enemy turned to stone.

Corrosive Kiss

Active

Summons a serpent to strike the three top damage dealers, applying Serpent's Venom that steadily drains health and erodes Buffer. Repeated hits under Venom deepen the health loss and strip Tenacity. Deployed with Athena, her attacks and defenses also spread Serpent's Venom.

Stonebound Curse

Passive

Passively stacks Stonecurse on anything Medusa damages, weakening the target's own damage output. At max stacks, the enemy becomes a vulnerable Soulless Statue with reduced dodge and magic suppression. Health loss against Stonecursed enemies extends the curse, and with Athena deployed, cracked statues take more damage from allies.

Coil of Shadows

Active

At major health thresholds, hides as an invulnerable, untargetable serpent near the enemy's strongest attacker, draining their attack rating, defense, and buffer while continuously healing. Deployed with Athena, the drain also boosts her stats, and the applied debuffs can persist until battle's end, stacking.

Signature Item

Petrifying Lash

Opens battle by Stonecursing top enemies, then deepens Serpent's Venom's damage and health loss, strips affected targets' resistances, and punishes enemies immune to petrification.

Furniture

Sprawling Mire

Corrosive Kiss spawns lingering mires that spread Serpent's Venom, while Coil of Shadows hides near extra enemies and permanently banks their stolen stats.

Engravings are not listed here because they upgrade existing skills directly. See the Skills tab for engraving effects alongside each skill.

Passive: Medusa's normal attacks inflict damage or health loss equal to 180% of her Attack Rating, alternating between the two. Active: Medusa lashes her whip, transforming it into a serpent that binds and gathers together all enemies, dealing damage equal to 280% of her Attack Rating. Medusa then uses Gorgon's Gaze on all enemies, dealing damage equal to 280% of her Attack Rating.

L 81Lvl 2When Gorgon's Gaze is triggered, if an enemy unit is affected by Stonecurse, their Stonecurse stack count is increased by 50%.
L 161Lvl 3When used actively, for every 1 enemy unit that is currently a Soulless Statue, Medusa's Attack Rating is increased by 20% for 10s (capped at a max increase of 60%).

Medusa wields her whip to summon a serpent, dealing damage equal to 300% of her Attack Rating to the 3 enemy units that have dealt the most damage and applying Serpent's Venom on them for 10s. While Serpent's Venom is active, the target suffers health loss equal to 150% of Medusa's Attack Rating every 2s, and their Buffer is reduced by 45 points. When deployed together with Athena, Medusa infuses Athena's sacred weapon with magical venom so that when Athena deals damage to an enemy unit, she applies Serpent's Venom for 10s. This effect can only be triggered once every 2s per enemy unit.

L 21Lvl 2While Serpent's Venom is active, every 2 times the target uses an active skill or normal attack, the health loss that Serpent's Venom inflicts will be increased by 50% (capped at a max increase of 200%).
L 101Lvl 3While Serpent's Venom is active, every 2 times the target uses an active skill or normal attack, Serpent's Venom will reduce the target's Tenacity by 10 points (capped at a max reduction of 40 points).
L 181Lvl 4When deployed together with Athena, Medusa also infuses Athena's Aegis with magical venom so that when Athena takes damage from an enemy unit, she applies Serpent's Venom on the attacker for 10s. This effect can only be triggered once every 2s per enemy unit.

When Medusa deals damage to an enemy unit, she applies 1 stack of Stonecurse for 5s. Each stack reduces the damage the unit deals by 7% (capped at 10 stacks).

L 121Lvl 2The Stonecurse stacks applied when Medusa deals damage are increased to 2.
L 201Lvl 3Once an enemy unit reaches 10 stacks of Stonecurse, it is transformed into a Soulless Statue for 8s. Soulless Statues take 70% more damage and health loss, while their Dodge and Magic Suppression are reduced by 70 points. After transforming into a Soulless Statue, the unit still suffers the same effects from its Stonecurse stacks as before.
E 30Lvl 4When Medusa inflicts health loss on an enemy unit, if the unit is affected by Stonecurse, then its duration is increased by 3s. Can trigger once every 2s per enemy unit. When deployed together with Athena, damage dealt by Athena also increases the Stonecurse duration. This can trigger once every 2s per enemy unit. If the enemy unit is a Soulless Statue, then Athena's damage also causes cracks to appear in the statue, reducing its Defense by 65% and increasing the damage it takes from allied heroes by 55%.

The first time Medusa's health falls below 75%, 50%, and 25% of her max health, she will transform into a serpent and hide near the enemy hero with the highest Attack Rating, reducing that hero's Attack Rating by 15%, Defense by 15%, and Buffer by 40 points. While hidden, Medusa is invincible, untargetable, and continuously recovers health. When her health is fully recovered, she emerges from hiding and returns to her initial battlefield position. When deployed together with Athena, Medusa's serpent form will also hide near Athena, granting Athena attribute boosts equal to 80% of the enemy hero attribute reductions from Coil of Shadows (boosts capped at 200% of Medusa's initial corresponding attribute).

L 141Lvl 2While Medusa is hidden, the enemy hero's Attack Rating will be reduced by 20% and Defense by 20%.
L 221Lvl 3While Medusa is hidden, the enemy hero takes health loss equal to 220% of Medusa's Attack Rating every 1s.
E 60Lvl 4While Medusa is hidden, any attribute-reducing effects the enemy hero takes will last until the end of battle. This effect can stack.
